List of news agencies
(詳細はAgence France-Presse (or AFP), founded in 1835, is the oldest news agency of the world. In 1851 Reuters was founded in England. With the advent of communism in Russia, Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union (or TASS) was founded in 1925. Xinhua was later founded as Red China News Services in the Chinese Soviet Republic. With the advent of freedom in the newly liberated regions of the Third World, a new wave of information dissemination had taken over and a series of news agencies were born out of it. These agencies later on formed their own Non-Aligned News Agencies Pool (NANAP). The NANAP served as a premiere information service among the countries of the Third World.
